Electrical Design Engineer (EC&I) - Submarines

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer (EC&I) to join our team at Rolls-Royce Submarines. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our submarine fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including controls and instrumentation, for our submarine fleet.
  • Work closely with project engineers and multi-discipline teams to develop detailed plans and estimates.
  • Produce technical reports, operating manuals, and other documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure timely delivery of components and systems.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical design principles and best practices.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in electrical design and development, preferably in a submarine or naval context.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging delivery dates.
