Role:

Carbon Solutions Lead

Opna is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our carbon solutions strategy, driving growth and innovation in the voluntary carbon market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping our carbon market strategy, guiding clients and internal teams on project diligence, and contributing to building Opna as a trusted brand and voice in the carbon markets/carbon removal space.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute our carbon strategy, focusing on client needs, supply availability, and commercial and policy considerations.
  • Collaborate with sales tools and CRM to build insights and capture feedback, informing our carbon market strategy.
  • Build internal know-how, thought leadership, and collateral to support clients, positioning Opna as a trusted advisor in the carbon markets.
  • Contribute to building Opna's brand and voice in the carbon markets/carbon removal space through speaking engagements, opinion pieces, and content creation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development/sales in carbon removal and carbon projects financing.
  • Strong network and understanding of the voluntary carbon market landscape.
  • Track record of helping corporates/net-zero meet their carbon strategy.
