About the Role

We are seeking an experienced or senior Band 5 nurse to join our Specialist Care Team at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. As a paediatric nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children who are seriously unwell.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for children who are staying with us at The Ark and those visiting us for day care.
  • Support children in their family homes and in community-settings.
  • Work collaboratively with our Specialist Care Team to provide high-quality care and support to children and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to children and their families, including bereavement support.
Requirements
  • Registered Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse Child Branch.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience at staff nurse band 5 level.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
