This position is ideal for an experienced Palliative Care Nurse, whether from a Hospice or Hospital background. You will have prior experience in mentoring staff and training junior team members.

Located in a serene environment, our independent private Hospital has recently been recognized as the top facility in the country for care quality. All profits generated support our onsite Hospice.

• Serve as a role model and expert clinical practitioner, supervising and educating both trained staff and student nurses.

• Assist the Ward Manager in all aspects of leadership and management of the hospice inpatient unit.

• Aid in the coordination of services provided by the inpatient unit and contribute to the daily operations of the service.

Are You the Right Fit for This Hospice Staff Nurse Role?

• Experience at Band 5 or higher in specialist palliative care or oncology.

• Proven practice that is evidence-based and current.

• Experience in identifying and managing risks within your practice.

• Background in supporting junior or less experienced staff.

• Strong assertive communication skills.

• Ability to conduct audits in an objective and efficient manner.

Why Consider This Role?
