Operations Director
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team at The Egerton House Hotel in London, Knightsbridge. As an Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that all departments are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and lead a team of supervisors and team members to drive standards and revenue.
- Support Heads of Department in ensuring their departments are adequately staffed.
- Deputise for the Hotel Manager in their absence, ensuring that Forbes standards are maintained.
- Present in each department, embracing and encouraging innovation across all operations.
- Identify weaknesses and training needs of the team, implement as required.
- Oversee and drive successful recruitment practices, assist Heads of Department with recruitment as needed.
- Monitor and update training manuals, departmental induction manuals, and job descriptions.
- Ensure purchases are actioned as and when required, and department P&Ls are managed effectively.
