Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Research Council. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing our relationships with value retail customers and driving growth through strategic account planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute customer account plans to achieve agreed volume, NSV, GP, and GP% targets.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and distribution agreements with customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their category, market, and consumer dynamics.
  • Lead internal business planning and stakeholder management to ensure seamless execution of customer strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in UK account management, preferably in a retail FMCG brand environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to drive NSV growth and demonstrate a strong desire to seek out further opportunities.
  • Strategic capability, strong internal networks, and cross-functional relationship building skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and difficult customer conversations.
  • Degree-educated (or equivalent).
