Position Overview: RTL Group Ltd is in search of a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead and manage all mechanical components of our residential building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Supervise the installation, upkeep, and operation of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing, ensuring they are executed flawlessly throughout the project duration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to safety standards, building regulations, and industry norms, ensuring all mechanical tasks meet these critical requirements.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Strategically plan and organize mechanical activities to align with overall project timelines and objectives, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and manage the efforts of mechanical subcontractors and on-site personnel, fostering a productive and quality-focused work environment.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project finances, ensuring efficient procurement of materials and equipment while maintaining budgetary constraints.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site evaluations to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve challenges that may arise during the construction process to maintain project momentum.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep all relevant parties informed and engaged, providing updates on project progress and developments.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and uphold health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a comparable role within the construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methodologies, and applicable regulations.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address on-site challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for effective planning, tracking, and reporting.
