Business Development Director

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is a leading global provider of advanced products, services, and expertise to help municipal, industrial, and construction customers improve their water management processes, increase operational performance, and reduce environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive business growth through achieving annual budget order intake, sales revenue, and gross margin targets within the geographical area of responsibility.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance key business relationships across the whole customer value chain and develop multiple routes to market.
- Manage all routes to market in designated regions, including annual evaluations and making recommended changes as necessary.
- Significantly grow the current business across the region through expansion into new target market segments and countries.
- Successfully create, drive, and implement the regional business strategy and monitor strategic objectives for the target territories to ensure that agreed financial targets are achieved.
- Monitor and review the monthly key performance indicators (sales, gross margins, overhead, profitability) and provide monthly and quarterly reports such as order and revenue forecasts.
- Support existing and future channel partners through product and application training and business planning to expand revenues within market segments.
- Develop an annual regional strategic plan, detailing optimum route to market, focused growth, new business opportunities, and competitor activity.
- Manage the regional budget for business development activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- A valid driving license.
- Fluent English (written and spoken). Romanian or Polish preferable.
- A minimum of 8 years post-graduation work experience in business development.
- Proven experience in generating sales in international markets.
- Strong understanding of the water industry in the region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and CRM systems.
