Job Title: Business Development Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team in Europe West. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through expanding geographical and market segment presence in line with our European business plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain key business relationships across the customer value chain and develop multiple routes to market.
  • Manage all routes to market in the designated region, including annual evaluations and making recommended changes as necessary.
  • Grow the current business across the region through expansion into new target market segments and countries.
  • Develop and implement the regional business strategy and monitor strategic objectives for the target territories to ensure agreed financial targets are achieved.
  • Monitor and review monthly key performance indicators (sales, gross margins, overhead, profitability) and provide monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Support existing and future channel partners through product and application training and business planning to expand revenues within market segments.
  • Develop an annual regional strategic plan, detailing optimum route to market, focused growth, new business opportunities, and competitor activity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken). Romanian or Polish preferable.
  • A minimum of 8 years post-graduation work experience in business development.
  • Proven experience in generating sales in international markets.
  • Strong understanding of the water industry in the region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and CRM systems.
