Job Summary:
Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling inwards claims in accordance with individual authority, providing support to Claims Managers and Head of Claims, and managing claim files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Handling: Enter and maintain claims data in the Claims Management System (CMS), organize and run reports from the CMS, and manage claim files, including retrieving brokers' claim files, document management, scanning, and document retention.
- Settlement and Analysis: Agree and settle claim bordereaux, analyze and review individual claims on programs where managed syndicate leads and follows as required, subject to terms of individual authority.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare various management reports for internal and external purposes as required, and maintain ongoing relationships with brokers, third-party experts, and colleagues.

- Able to maintain ongoing relationships with brokers, third-party experts, and colleagues.
- Operate at all times to the standards and rules of applicable regulatory bodies and internal guidelines.
- Input data and maintain records with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure competence is attained and maintained.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Professional Indemnity (PI)
- UK Business
- Knowledge of underwriting and reinsurance appropriate to the role.
- Developing an understanding of the insurance market, industry, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the main issues affecting the insurance market.
- Familiarity with the standards and rules of regulatory bodies and internal procedures.
- Understanding of the types of business transacted by the syndicate.
- IT skills (Word, Excel, and other software packages used within the business).
