Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Reed. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of real estate claims, ensuring a professional and efficient conclusion of claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and negotiate claims in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaise with insured parties, insurers, and brokers to ensure a smooth claims process.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the UK and Europe to resolve claims effectively.
  • Produce reports that comply with professional standards and internal guidelines.
  • Ensure time reporting and billing are compliant with internal standards.
  • Guarantee accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Work closely with adjusters to manage claims efficiently.
  • Attend client review meetings to discuss and assess ongoing claims processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Claims Handler, particularly within property and liability claims.
  • Strong understanding of technical, operational, and regulatory policies within the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of claims efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience in coordinating with international stakeholders is highly advantageous.
