Lockton Companies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Risk Management Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are a leading global professional services firm specializing in risk management and insurance solutions.

As part of our growing Risk Control Services Team, you will play a vital role in developing strong relationships with clients and delivering exceptional service and solutions. Your expertise in property risk assessment and mitigation will be instrumental in helping our clients enhance their operations and minimize potential losses.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site reviews and operational assessments to identify and evaluate property risks to assets and revenue streams.
  • Prepare comprehensive property damage and business interruption (PD/BI) reports, account overviews, and executive summaries for both clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with client-facing colleagues across the Property & Casualty business, acting as a trusted risk partner and working alongside account teams, producers, and clients to identify opportunities for support and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and innovation of our Risk Engineering/Consulting approach, staying abreast of industry standards, emerging risks, and technological advancements to benefit our clients.
  • Support both Risk Partners and RCS leaders in developing and mentoring colleagues across the organization, promoting a consultancy-based and risk partnering mindset while upholding Lockton values and client focus.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience delivering technical property risk consulting projects and reports within a commercial insurance and/or broking environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in delivering projects related to property risk control/fire protection standards, meeting insurer requirements is essential.
  • Ability to lead and support the delivery of client projects in these areas, effectively collaborating with team members.
  • Detailed understanding of Property Risk Control standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Fire Protection Standards (e.g., LPC, NFPA & FM Global).
  • Experience delivering client projects across diverse industry sectors.
  • Proficiency in preparing diagrams, reports, and presentations for clients and prospects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
  • Autonomous identification of key tasks for a project without relying on a formulaic model or plan.
  • Confidence in supporting both existing clients and new business initiatives.
