Position Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should possess a degree in a discipline related to earth sciences.
  • Competence in utilizing computer software for tasks such as document processing and data management is essential.
  • A valid driving license is required (a vehicle will be provided).
  • While familiarity with geotechnical sampling and analysis is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
  • Previous experience on-site is beneficial but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this role include supporting environmental and geotechnical assessments, sampling, along with administrative and reporting duties.

  • Perform on-site collection of groundwater and surface water samples.
  • Effectively operate sampling instruments.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for site access arrangements.
  • Collaborate with laboratories for sample analysis and supply of necessary materials.
  • Manage data received from laboratory analyses.
  • Oversee additional geotechnical monitoring activities related to ongoing projects.
  • Engage with clients as required.
