We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Ward 3, Harplands Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a dynamic mental health setting.
As a key member of the ward team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the delivery of care and supporting your colleagues. You will work closely with the Ward Manager to ensure that our patients receive the best possible support and achieve their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses and healthcare professionals, ensuring effective delivery of patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to provide holistic and integrated care.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and guidelines.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Ward 3 is a specialized unit dedicated to the assessment and treatment of complex female mental health conditions. We operate on an acute care model, providing comprehensive support to patients during their initial 72-hour stay.
