Deputy Surgical Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager on Ward 3 at Harplands Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and supporting the Ward Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the ward.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Ward Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other staff members
- Participate in the assessment of care needs and the development of individual care plans
- Provide specialist advice to other members of staff
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and outside agencies to implement patient care
- Registered Nurse with experience in mental health assessment and care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct
