Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Mortuary Manager and Quality Lead to join our team at Royal Stoke Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full range of mortuary activities, including admission, identification, and safe storage of deceased bodies for post-mortem examination.
  • Assist the Mortuary Manager in supervising, coordinating, and monitoring the performance and daily work schedules of all mortuary staff.
  • Work with pathologists to assist with post-mortem examinations, including high-risk cases when required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality and safety initiatives within the mortuary.
