Job Title: Concierge (Night)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team at Ballymore. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high level of customer service to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Assist with the security of residents and the building, ensuring the safety of all residents and visitors.
  • Manage the communication systems within the estate, including telephones, radios, and internal intercom systems.
  • Issue visitor parking permits and provide explanations of the onsite parking procedures.
  • Aid the Security team by communicating regularly and reporting any concerning matters.
  • Liaise with cleaning staff regarding domestic rubbish removal and perform tasks as necessary.
  • Report any security or health and safety issues, as well as incidents or complaints.
  • Safekeep security keys on behalf of residents and the estate, following standard operating procedures.
  • Issue keys only to authorized personnel and residents, ensuring proper authorization and disclaimers.
  • Cross-train with other resort departments and respond to resident enquiries through the b. Life system.
  • Manage the receipt and issue of residents' dry cleaning and laundry, completing relevant paperwork.
  • Conduct apartment and estate key audits during night shifts and follow up on any missing keys.
  • Proactively address maintenance and cleaning problems within the estate.
  • Maintain a safe environment for all people in the estate at all times.
  • Handle people's data securely, ensuring the PC is locked when not in use, and comply with GDPR.
  • Report accidents and record them in the accident book as necessary.
  • Turn on and off lobby lights at the appropriate times.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex issues, remaining calm when dealing with challenging people.
  • Conduct monthly stock checks of the first-aid box and concierge stock, requisitioning supplies as needed.
  • Assist residents in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner, following up as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Polite and confident with a great deal of patience.
  • Ability to multi-task and time-manage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
