About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Reception Manager to join our management team at the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Front of House Reception team to provide a high level of service to guests.
  • Lead by example, setting and delivering high standards for the front desk operation.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they meet the hotel's expectations.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Reception and Switchboard.
  • Monitor and manage departmental costs, including payroll, to meet budget and business demands.
  • Utilize strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and inspire the team to achieve high performance.
  • Maintain a well-groomed and tidy appearance at all times, setting the standard for the front office.
  • Operate effectively with our hotel's systems, including Opera, Reservation and Rooms Management, telephone switchboard, and point of sales system.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in management/supervision within Front Office operations and Guest Relations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with hotel management systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Financial and commercial acumen, with experience of managing departmental costs.
  • Knowledge of Fourth Hospitality or other HR/Payroll forecasting systems.
