About the Role

The FILE Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Impact and Learning Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Impact and Learning team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to tackle the climate and biodiversity crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Support the collection and analysis of data from partner reports to inform our impact and learning strategies.
  • Data Management: Collaborate with our Grant Management team to maintain and refine data collection and management tools, including partner reporting templates.
  • Donor and Board Reporting: Prepare and present data and evidence for our donors and board to demonstrate our progress towards impact.
  • Internal and External Learning: Design and deliver learning processes with FILE staff and partners to enable learning at all levels of the organisation.

  • Increased partner and staff capacity and capability to collect and interpret good data.
  • Clear and compelling donor and board reporting.
  • Enablement of learning at all levels of the organisation through effectively communicating data and evidence.
  • Partner learning enabled through learning sessions and webinars with partners.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong understanding of climate mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity, or other environmental issues. You will have a proven track record of applying monitoring, evaluation, and learning or research approaches within an organisation.

You will be a confident collaborator, able to work with people across the organisation and with external partners. You will have experience of collecting qualitative and quantitative data using different tools and templates, including desktop research and semi-structured interviews.

You will also have data visualisation skills using different platforms and tools to clearly and compellingly communicate data. Good quantitative data management and analysis skills, including use of MS databases (Excel, Access) or other similar tools, are essential.
