Position: Support and Care Specialist

Compensation: £11.67 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week
Sanctuary Supported Living is excited to announce an opportunity for a Support and Care Specialist within our Physical Disability Service. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with physical disabilities in achieving their maximum potential and independence.
- Collaborate with clients to establish personalized care and support plans.
- Document care plans and maintain detailed care records.
- Deliver high-quality, individualized care, including personal care and medication management.
- Support clients with daily routines, including personal hygiene and dressing.
- Facilitate community engagement by accompanying clients on outings and appointments.
- Encourage social interaction to combat isolation and promote a positive atmosphere.
- Work alongside clients and colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in providing personal care is preferred.
- A compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of clients.
- Strong organizational skills.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is advantageous, or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
