Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales and Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities and providing accurate quotations and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Strong Relationships with new and existing customers to foster long-term business partnerships.
  • Identify and Pursue New Sales Opportunities in the window glazing market to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Conduct Site Visits to gather necessary information for accurate project estimates, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Prepare Detailed and Accurate Cost Estimates for window glazing projects, taking into account all relevant factors and considerations.
  • Present Proposals to clients and negotiate terms to close sales, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Team to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends, products, and competitors to effectively address customer needs and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Maintain Customer Information by utilizing our in-house CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Compile Sales and Estimating Reports to provide valuable insights and support business decision-making.
  • Prepare and Write PQQ's and Tender Bids to secure new business opportunities and drive growth.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience in sales and estimating, preferably in the construction or glazing industry.
  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Interpersonal Skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team to achieve business objectives and support colleagues.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Understanding of CAD Drawings is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience and/or Training in Operating Standard Window, Curtain Walling, Architectural Computerised Estimating Systems is highly desirable.
