Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales and Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities and providing accurate quotations and tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Identify and Pursue New Sales Opportunities: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the window glazing market to drive business growth.
- Conduct Site Visits: Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate project estimates.
- Prepare Detailed Estimates: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for window glazing projects.
- Present Proposals: Present proposals to clients and negotiate terms to close sales.
- Collaborate with Project Management: Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitors to effectively address customer needs.
- Manage Customer Information: Maintain customer information by using the in-house CRM system.
- Compile Sales and Estimating Reports: Compile Sales and Estimating reports to track business performance.
- Prepare Tender Bids: Prepare and submit tender bids to secure new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in sales and estimating, preferably in the construction or glazing industry.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Understanding of CAD Drawings: An understanding of CAD Drawings is advantageous.
- Estimating Systems: Experience and or training in operating standard window, curtain walling, architectural computerised estimating systems.
