About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Substance Use Recovery Coordinators to join our Forward Leeds team. This is a rewarding role where you will:

  • Manage a caseload by creating, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
  • Facilitate the progression of individuals from initial engagement into structured treatment.
  • Support clients throughout various treatment stages, from initial assessment to exiting treatment, accessing sustained recovery, and aftercare.
  • Contribute to reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
  • Collaborate closely with key partners and colleagues to support partnerships that achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.

About You

You will possess:

  • Some experience working with vulnerable adults.
  • A genuine interest in being part of Humankind's mission and vision.
  • Experience of working/volunteering with adults at risk related to drug/alcohol use.
  • Passion for helping others.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A driving licence is preferred but not essential.
