We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our Recovery Coordination team as a Peer Support Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals experiencing problematic substance misuse.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tailored support plans to enable service users to make positive changes and achieve their goals.
- Support the building and strengthening of sustainable peer-led recovery support and communities across Dorset.
- Work towards a recognized qualification in Adult Care, while gaining valuable experience in the field.
- Personal lived experience of alcohol/substance use and/or experience of accessing recovery services.
- Ability to engage with study and undertake a Level 2 apprenticeship in Adult Care.
- Basic understanding of IT and ability to use a laptop to carry out job tasks.
- Capable of independent travel across the area to meet with clients in community venues.
