We are seeking an experienced Clinician with a passion for Leg Ulcer management to join our Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service as a Nurse Specialist (Band 6).
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound assessment, prevention, and treatment skills around care of leg ulcers. They will work closely with the Advanced Nurse Specialist (LLTS), Community Nurse Team Managers, Nurse Specialist (Community), Tissue Viability service, and other members of the Community Services Division to deliver safe, effective care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive wound assessment, prevention, and treatment skills around care of leg ulcers.
- Work closely with the Advanced Nurse Specialist (LLTS), Community Nurse Team Managers, Nurse Specialist (Community), Tissue Viability service, and other members of the Community Services Division to deliver safe, effective care.
- Support the Advance Nurse Specialist in undertaking research activities and clinical audits in Community Lower Limb Therapy and Well Leg service team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work flexibly across a variety of clinic settings in Exeter, Mid and East Devon.
