About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our East Specialist Health Community Learning Disability Team. As a specialist physiotherapist, you will work with adults with learning disabilities, providing specialist physiotherapy services and developing your skills in working with complex physical health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to adults with learning disabilities, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Work closely with other multidisciplinary team members, carers, and services to promote independence and community inclusion.
  • Develop and implement specialist physiotherapy programmes, including hydrotherapy and postural management.
  • Contribute to the planning, organisation, and maintenance of professional networks and interest groups.
  • Ensure safe practice and adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
