Theatre Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our theatre team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a theatre nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of surgical procedures in our operating rooms.

• Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the operating room.
• Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement agreed standards of care.
• Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the pre-operative environment.

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
