About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our theatre team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a theatre nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of surgical procedures in our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the operating room.
- Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement agreed standards of care.
- Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the pre-operative environment.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
