Job Title: German Customer Service Team Leader

Location: 4 days Home Based / 1 day Office location St Neots, Cambridgeshire.

A prominent international organization is seeking a German-speaking Customer Service Team Leader. The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and responsible for ensuring exceptional service quality while contributing to the overall success of customer care initiatives. This role involves managing a dedicated team that provides expert support to German clients, addressing complex inquiries, initiating appropriate actions, and ensuring effective resolution of all requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and support the team, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching and development.
  • Oversee a team of Customer Care Administrators.
  • Address intricate customer inquiries and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Utilize specialized IT systems to manage and process customer orders and inquiries.
  • Conduct various quality assessments and assist team members in their development through a coaching approach.
  • Perform regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations.
  • During peak periods, handle customer calls and inquiries directly.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for Customer Care roles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall performance.
  • Enhance product and process knowledge to maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Act as a proud representative of the company to both customers and colleagues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role.
  • Strong passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Eager to learn and utilize various specialized IT systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and engaging demeanor.
  • Flexible coaching and feedback abilities.
  • Proficient in change leadership and capable of prioritizing a diverse workload.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team, seeking assistance when needed.
  • Demonstrate ownership and drive team engagement.
  • Analyze department, team, and individual metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the initiative to enhance personal knowledge.

Working Hours:

This position involves a 5-week rotational shift pattern with some flexibility in start times.

Three out of five weeks will follow the schedule: 09:00-17:15, Monday to Friday; weekends off.

The remaining two weeks will require availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with Friday and Sunday off.

Location:

  • This role combines home and office working, with a requirement to commute to the St Neots office.
  • Hybrid working model: 1 day per week in the office.
