Position: German Customer Service Team Leader

Location: Hybrid work model with a combination of remote and office presence.

A prominent international organization is seeking a German-speaking Customer Service Team Leader. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both German and English, committed to delivering exceptional service, and capable of enhancing customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing a dedicated team that provides specialized support to German clients, addressing complex inquiries, and ensuring timely resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and guide the team, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Supervise a group of Customer Care Administrators.
  • Address intricate customer inquiries and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Utilize specialized IT systems to manage and process customer requests.
  • Conduct quality assessments across various channels and support team development through coaching.
  • Facilitate regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations.
  • During peak periods, handle customer calls and inquiries directly.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for Customer Care roles.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service quality.
  • Continuously develop product and process knowledge to maintain high service standards.
  • Act as a proud representative of the organization to both customers and colleagues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role.
  • Strong passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various specialized IT systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and engaging demeanor.
  • Flexible coaching and feedback abilities.
  • Effective leadership skills with the capacity to prioritize diverse tasks.
  • A collaborative team player who values support and trust among colleagues.
  • Proactive in taking ownership and driving team engagement.
  • Ability to analyze metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to knowledge development.

Working Hours:

This position operates on a rotational shift basis, with some flexibility in start times.

Work Environment:

  • This role requires a mix of remote and office work, with the expectation of occasional office attendance.
  • Hybrid working model: one day per week in the office.
