Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in portfolio management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Currys Transformation Portfolio, ensuring successful delivery of projects and programmes to desired budget, quality, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management: Responsible for managing the single source of truth across the portfolio, driving informed management decisions by providing consolidated reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce and maintain core reporting requirements across the portfolio for all key meetings and stakeholders.
  • RAID Management: Manage and drive data inputs/outputs, ensuring appropriate escalations and consolidating common themes.
  • Portfolio Roadmap and Plan: Manage milestones, dependencies, and change, ensuring robust change control across the portfolio.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide independent quality assurance for all projects and programmes, prior to all stage gate reviews at the Currys Change Board.
  • Support and Collaboration: Directly support material preparation and scheduling for fortnightly Currys Change Boards, identify opportunities for continuous improvement across process, and create efficiencies and best practices through coaching, training, and development.
  • Governance and Compliance: Support the Lead Portfolio Manager in preparation and facilitation of all critical portfolio governance, and deliver ad-hoc reporting, control, and portfolio management requests from the Lead Portfolio Manager or Head of Portfolio as required.

  • Technical Skills: Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).

  • Positive Attitude and Problem-Solving: A positive, can-do attitude and proven ability to deliver cost-effective solutions when met with difficult and challenging project impacting risks and issues.
