Job Summary

The Patient Services Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Patient Services Team at Imeary Street Surgery. This role requires a high level of administrative expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the Patient Services Team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize overhead costs and optimize team performance.
  • Ensure that patient service standards are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and team performance.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, using tools such as SIRMS to monitor and improve team performance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a patient services or administrative role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and team performance.
