Position Overview

Orchard Recruitment Ltd is a prominent global firm of Chartered Accountants, offering a comprehensive range of services within a varied wealth management framework. We are currently in search of a Senior Audit Consultant to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Audit Consultant will report directly to the Supervisor and will be primarily responsible for overseeing and directing the workflow of audit assistants, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgetary constraints.

Key duties include:

  • Conducting initial reviews of the work completed by assistants before it is submitted for Supervisor evaluation.
  • Effectively communicating and summarizing identified risks to management in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that all audit work performed by the team is thoroughly documented and concluded.
  • Exhibiting a solid understanding and application of auditing standards (ISA's).
  • Providing constructive, timely, and direct feedback to team members regarding their performance.
  • Engaging in the firm's performance management processes.
  • Keeping the team well-informed of decisions and performance expectations.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Senior Audit Consultant position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Part-qualified accountant status (ACA or ACCA).
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an audit setting.
  • Proficient presentation skills and computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A dynamic and creative approach to problem-solving.
