**The opportunity**:
An opportunity is available in Investment Services - IS Technical Team. The main dimensions of the role is to ensure that various aspects of third party oversight, cost centre control and audit support are completed in accordance with our internal and external controls and regulations. Supporting various business change and development activities is also expected with growing experience.

**Key responsibilities of the team**:
Details below highlight the main functions undertaken across the whole of the IS Technical Team - whilst knowledge of all activities will be expected over time, being accountable for all such activities at any one time is unlikely.
- Oversight and Governance of 3rd party relationships. Ensuring all associated documentation is regularly reviewed and up to date in accordance with agreements. Also attending regular calls to meet with mandated requirements.
- Management of all IS cost centre prepayments and accruals, as well as raising payments for IS related licences.
- Monitor and reconcile monthly and quarterly Fund Rebate payments coming in and Fee payments going out.
- Monitor and investigate any Cash or Unit reconciliation breaks as reported by the reconciliation team, this may include resolution in the form of creating journals or contacting Fund managers.
- Production of Monthly and Quarterly reporting, providing secondary controls for IS.
- Management of Blend Fund rebalancing.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Production of required monthly and quarterly accounting information
- Preparation and investigation of pricing performance
- Working with Compliance teams in other Business Units to satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Providing Management Information on a monthly basis.
- Process review and implementation of improvements.
- Support Audits, controls and mitigation.
- Train other team-members and new joiners on day-to-day operations and internal control matters.
- Provide specialist advice and help to address specific technical queries from internal clients and deliver appropriate solutions, in line with Zurich policies and processes and regulatory requirements.
- Production of committee packs

- Provide input into performance management discussions of project team members.
- Provide technical direction/ advice within and outside unit.
- Provide guidance and mentoring support for team members.
- Take action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Extensive investment administration experience.
- Thorough knowledge of investment instruments.
- A good knowledge of using Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
- Work to tight deadlines, be adaptive, reduce ambiguity and clearly document and develop sustainable, efficient processes.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
