  • Budget Management: Manage business development budgets, ensuring maximum ROI from all activities.
  • Internal Communication: Provide market updates through internal communication channels and regular board reports.
  • Cross-Collaboration: Collaborate with the business development and marketing team to share best practices and develop cross-market solutions and campaigns.
  • CRM Utilization: Use CRM systems - Peppermint CRM and Introhive - to support business development, marketing, and client development activities.
  • Network Building: Develop relationships with key clients, prospects, intermediaries, industry groups, and journalists to support business development and marketing activities.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop the business development executive supporting the central and local government and housing markets.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in business development/marketing within a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of central government, local authorities, and/or the housing market is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in enhancing an organization's profile and reputation through marketing events and campaigns.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with a deep understanding of client markets and their challenges.
  • Experience in identifying, generating, and converting new business opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems, and financial software/reports.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
