- Directory Submissions: Oversee legal directory and award submissions.
- Budget Management: Manage business development budgets, ensuring maximum ROI from all activities.
- Internal Communication: Provide market updates through internal communication channels and regular board reports.
- Cross-Collaboration: Collaborate with the business development and marketing team to share best practices and develop cross-market solutions and campaigns.
- CRM Utilization: Use CRM systems - Peppermint CRM and Introhive - to support business development, marketing, and client development activities.
- Network Building: Develop relationships with key clients, prospects, intermediaries, industry groups, and journalists to support business development and marketing activities.
- Team Management: Lead and develop the business development executive supporting the central and local government and housing markets.
- 5+ years' experience in business development/marketing within a professional services environment.
- Knowledge of central government, local authorities, and/or the housing market is advantageous.
- Proven track record in enhancing an organization's profile and reputation through marketing events and campaigns.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial acumen with a deep understanding of client markets and their challenges.
- Experience in identifying, generating, and converting new business opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems, and financial software/reports.
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
