E-Commerce Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of E-commerce to lead our online sales and digital efforts at Decant Group's House of Decant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce and a passion for the beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online sales, enhance customer engagement, and improve overall user experience.
- Owning all areas of the product chain - from selection of SKUs to uploading images and product descriptions on the website.
- Oversee the management of the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring the site is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimised for search engines.
- Monitor and analyse website traffic, conversion rates, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability on the website.
- Enhance the online customer journey by improving site navigation, product descriptions, images, and customer service responsiveness.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to create promotional campaigns, exclusive offers, and events that drive sales and customer loyalty.
- Manage and mentor a team of e-commerce and digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Can demonstrate previous experience as an E-commerce Director, Head of E-commerce or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of online trade, CRM, digital marketing and performance marketing.
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the beverage or related industry.
- Proficient in using e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
