Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled Group Management Accountant to join our client, a well-established player in the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Analysis and reporting on variances, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing strategic financial planning support.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations.
- Providing support to the Finance Director in strategic financial planning, contributing to the company's financial growth and success.
- Assisting in the development of financial systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of financial governance.
- Participating in ad-hoc finance projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
- A recognised Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and relevant experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across departments and build effective relationships.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary in the region of £45,000 to £50,000 plus bonus.
- A hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office in Liverpool.
