Group Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for group consolidation, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of statutory accounts for subsidiary companies
- Managing inter-company reconciliations
- Consolidating forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, along with supplementary group reporting including cashflow and net working capital analysis
- Coordinating management reporting packs
- Handling corporation tax accounting and submissions
- Coordinating the annual external audit process and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations
- Providing training and guidance to the Management Accounts team and supporting with technical finance matters
- Acting as a key contact for Group Finance and mentoring the Assistant Reporting Accountant
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experience in Audit
- Current knowledge of IFRS
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to influence colleagues at all levels
- Experience of supporting and embedding the financial elements of transformational change
- Full understanding of the compliance and legislation associated with financial reporting
