Position Overview:

Farnborough Airport Limited is seeking an Airport Operations Officer to contribute to the comprehensive Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and precise responses to all handling inquiries.
  • Manage the daily flight schedule for the airport, ensuring optimal use of operational hours while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations at all times.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in organizing, compiling, and entering information into the FBO's computer system.
  • Assess and address any needs and requests from Operators / Crews accordingly.
  • Facilitate communication with arriving and departing aircraft, delivering all requested services promptly.
  • Ensure safe, swift, and efficient handling of all aircraft movements at the airport.
  • Execute client requests, including third-party bookings (e.g., hotel, catering, transport), with precision and without delay.
  • Collaborate with all Operators to provide the highest standards of personalized service to passengers.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding relevant flight requests.
  • Act as the primary contact for the Crew, upholding the airport's high standards consistently.
  • Maintain a professional level of service and attention to detail in all responsibilities.
  • Encourage adherence to the company values of Pride, Passion, Ambition, and Togetherness in daily operations.

  • Adhere to the Company's policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure all work is performed safely and to the highest standards, including but not limited to:
    • Safety, Compliance, and Environmental standards/legislation.

    • Appropriate Workplace Behavior, UK Modern Slavery, and General Data Protection & Retention (GDPR) Policies.
  • Assist the team with additional tasks as reasonably requested.

Candidate Profile: Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Essential:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Comprehensive 5-year employment/educational history with no unexplained gaps.
  • Ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) certificate for the required security clearance level.
  • Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.
  • Interest in the aviation sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to manage unexpected situations calmly and logically.
  • Effective multitasking skills, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and foresight.

Desirable:

Prior experience in a similar Aviation, Operational, or Customer Service role.
