Job Summary:
Farnborough Airport Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airport Operations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Operations function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the airport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily movement schedule for the airport, ensuring optimum use of the operational day while adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Apply a strong attention to detail in sorting, collating, and transferring information into the FBO's computer system.
- Communicate effectively with incoming and outgoing aircraft, providing all services promptly as requested.
- Provide a safe, fast, and efficient handling of all aircraft movements through the airport.
- Execute clients' requests, including third-party bookings, with great attention to detail and without delay.
- Act as the first point of contact for the Crew, representing the airport's high standards at all times.
- Contribute to the Company's aspiration of becoming an Employer of Choice and Responsibility in the local area by actively participating in our volunteering opportunities.
- Demonstrate engagement with and adherence to the Company's policies, procedures, guidelines, and reporting channels to ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards.
- Manage occupational risks factors that may affect an employee's psychological response to their work and workplace conditions.
- Ensure compliance with UK Modern Slavery and General Data Protection & Retention (GDPR) Policies.
- Obtain a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) certificate to the required security clearance level for this role.
- Develop and maintain strong administration and organisational skills.
- Work shifts, including weekends, as required.
- Develop an interest in aviation and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Prior experience in a similar Aviation, Operational, or Customer Service role is highly desirable.
