About the Role

Farnborough Airport is seeking a highly skilled Airport Operations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Operations function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling Requests: Respond promptly and accurately to all handling requests, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Daily Movement Schedule: Coordinate the daily movement schedule for the airport, optimizing the use of the operational day while adhering to regulatory constraints.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all relevant regulations are followed and upheld at all times, maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Information Management: Apply a strong attention to detail in sorting, collating, and transferring information into our computer system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with incoming and outgoing aircraft, providing all services promptly as requested and ensuring a safe, fast, and efficient handling of all aircraft movements.
  • Client Requests: Execute clients' requests, including third-party bookings, with great attention to detail and without delay, ensuring a high level of personalized service.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on relevant flight requests, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact for the Crew, representing the airport's high standards at all times and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Professional Development: Maintain a high level of professional services and attention to detail in all tasks, consistently demonstrating and encouraging others to adhere to the company values of Proud, Passionate, Ambition, and Together.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Evidence of Right to Work: Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
  • Full Employment/Educational History: A full 5-year employment/educational history required (with no unaccounted-for gaps).
  • Criminal Record Check: Must be able to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) certificate to the required security clearance level for this role.
  • Administration and Organizational Skills: Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and level of accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer Focus: Customer focus.
  • Shift Work: Ability to work shifts, including weekends.
