Duty Manager - Edwalton Golf Centre

Key Responsibilities

The Duty Manager will oversee the daily operations of Edwalton Golf Centre, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Golf Operations:
    Manage the overall presentation and efficiency of the golf operations, conduct daily inspections, and maintain the buggy and trolley hire fleet.
  • Health & Safety:
    Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies, conduct regular inspections, and report incidents as per company guidelines.
  • Human Resources:
    Support the Centre Manager in maintaining performance standards and attend necessary meetings.
  • Bookings Management:
    Oversee the booking systems for tee times, buggies, and coaching, ensuring all events are well-prepared.
  • Sales Development:
    Foster a sales-oriented culture within the team, collaborate on sales and marketing strategies, and ensure effective reporting of all activities.
  • Member Relations:
    Manage the member database and ensure accurate recording of member activities.
  • Retail Management:
    Oversee merchandising standards, ensure marketing materials are current, and conduct stock takes as needed.

Grade: Junior Manager
Remuneration: Based on skills and competencies
Pension: Eligibility for company pension scheme
Holidays: As per individual contract
DBS: This position is subject to a DBS check.
