About the Role

Opus People Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Programme Manager to lead our strategic initiatives and drive organisational change.

This is a 6 to 12 month fixed term contract based in Rugby, with a hybrid working arrangement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of our organisation and identifying areas for transformation and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Chief Officer of Finance and Performance to define, develop, and coordinate the delivery of corporate strategy and transformation projects, with significant organisational and financial impact.
  • Matrix manage programme teams across various services, delivering projects of organisational significance, including onboarding new technologies, processes, and ways of working.
  • Develop and implement change projects to support the successful delivery of our corporate strategy and transformation programme, ensuring cost and efficiency savings, and service/performance improvements.
  • Conduct resource planning and forecasting to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of programmes and projects.
  • Challenge and influence officers, including the Leadership Team, to deliver strategic priorities through successful project delivery.
  • Ensure effective project management methodology and governance, with proactive risk and issue management.
  • Manage the programme budget to ensure value for money through resource optimisation and expenditure control.
