Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Programme Manager to join our team on a 6 to 12 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of our transformation programme, identifying areas of improvement, and delivering projects that drive organisational change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Chief Officer of Finance and Performance to define, develop, and coordinate the delivery of corporate strategy and transformation projects.
- Matrix manage programme teams to deliver projects of organisational significance, including onboarding new technologies, processes, and ways of working.
- Develop and implement change projects to support the delivery of the corporate strategy and transformation programme.
- Conduct resource planning and forecasting to ensure programme delivery on time and to budget.
- Constructively challenge and influence officers to deliver strategic priorities through successful project delivery.
- Ensure effective project management methodology and governance, and proactive management of risks and issues.
- Manage the programme budget to ensure value for money through effective resource use and expenditure control.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transformation programme management, with a strong track record of delivering organisational change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with experience of managing multiple projects and teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a strong focus on remote working.
- Knowledge of corporate strategy and transformation principles, with experience of applying these in a business context.
