Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Children's Safeguarding Team based in the South East region.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with at least two years of post-registration experience and current registration. They will also possess strong team working skills, including working in a multi-disciplinary team and liaison with relevant bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to children and families in need.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct home visits to assess and provide support to children and families.
  • Produce clear and concise written reports to document progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
  • At least two years of post-registration experience.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Strong team working skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to disability.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: provision of major adaptations, moving and handling, or paediatric equipment/children with complex needs.
