About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a variety of clinical areas, including Acute Care, Older Persons Medicine, Neurotherapy, Rehabilitation, and Paediatrics. As a rotational Occupational Therapist, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge across different environments and settings.
Key Responsibilities- To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality Occupational Therapy services to patients across the Trust.
- To participate in the rotational scheme, working across inpatient and community settings, and consolidating Occupational Therapy core skills.
- To manage a defined caseload, using evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- To demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of patients and colleagues.
- To participate in weekend working and extended hours as required, ensuring efficient therapy service provision.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who:
- Is State Registered (HCPC) or pending qualification.
- Has experience working within a multi-disciplinary team and has applied the OT process.
- Has used functional assessment and activity analysis in their practice.
- Is able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
