The Role:

You will:

  • Act as a central point of contact for managers, providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of effective organizational change initiatives.
  • Advise on and support complex employee relations cases, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for service improvement and develop strategies to enhance our HR services.
  • Lead projects to deliver service improvements and initiatives, driving positive change within the University.
  • Coach and develop managers and colleagues on effective people practices, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.

What we're looking for:

  • A graduate-level education and membership of the CIPD or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in a generalist or specialist advisory HR role, with operational experience of employment law, case management, and organizational change management.
  • Experience of advising and influencing senior managers on HR-related matters.
  • A positive and flexible approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to produce and present clear, concise reports.
  • Experience of project planning and delivery, with a proven track record of success.
