As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your role will focus on delivering exceptional work while upholding our high standards of integrity. Our firm is renowned for managing some of the UK's most significant projects across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, education, corporate real estate, retail, residential, aviation, and healthcare. You will also play a crucial role in nurturing the professional growth of your colleagues.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate within a team to execute a variety of Quantity Surveying and Employer's Agent tasks from project initiation to completion.
  • Develop Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Tender Reports.
  • Evaluate tender submissions, negotiate, and recommend contract sums.
  • Deliver post-contract Quantity Surveying and Employer's Agent services.
  • Compile data and reports within specified timelines, tailored to the requirements of management or clients.
  • Work in conjunction with other service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client service delivery.
  • Manage client relationships and oversee service delivery on a project basis alongside senior management.
What You Bring:
  • A BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Proficiency in NEC Contracts.
  • Extensive experience working with both private and public sector clients, along with a solid understanding of construction contracts.
  • Experience in delivering projects with rapid turnaround times.
  • Commercially astute, demonstrating strong teamwork and people management abilities.
  • A comprehensive understanding of project components and overall construction costs, along with knowledge of various project procurement methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities (internally and with clients), and a strong desire to advance your career.
