Role Summary
In light of our ongoing success and expansion, we are excited to offer a position for a seasoned Senior Cost Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with leading clients in sectors such as retail, office, leisure, and hospitality. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are procured and executed within financial and contractual parameters across the UK and Ireland. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Cost Consultant looking to advance their career with a progressive organization that is committed to investing in its workforce.

Key Responsibilities
The following outlines the primary responsibilities associated with this role:

  • Oversee and manage the commercial aspects of projects.
  • Assist in the development and training of Junior Cost Consultants.
  • Provide reports on the overall financial performance of the Fit-Out division.
  • Enhance project and contract profitability.
  • Prepare initial cost estimates, bills of quantities, and conduct cost reviews at various stages of project design and construction.
Qualifications and Skills
  • As a Cost Consultant, your qualifications and experience should include:
  • Essential Criteria
  • Extensive experience in a Fit-Out environment.
  • Approximately 5 years of significant relevant experience in Cost Consulting.
  • A Third Level Qualification in Quantity Surveying or substantial experience in a similar role.
  • A proven track record in managing contractual issues using standard forms of contract such as JCT and NEC.

  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
