Senior Cost Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our Infrastructure business in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering contracts, providing accurate project cost monitoring, and collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
- Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.
- Manage contract change effectively.
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and budgeting.
- Provide commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
- Negotiate and agree final accounts.
Requirements
- Highly numerate and computer literate, with expertise in Microsoft Excel and contract administration software.
- Familiarity with pre and post-contract roles, including cost planning, procurement, contract formation, post-contract cost control, contract administration, value management/engineering, risk management, and final accounts.
- Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 7 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in large civil engineering projects in the rail, water, or aviation sectors.
- Working knowledge of the NEC form of Contract.
- Chartered via RICS or SCSI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence at senior levels, and think strategically.
- Right to work in Ireland and the UK.
