As we introduce a range of innovative models, we are on the lookout for a skilled marine construction and production supervisor to guide our ambitious Wood Technology Team at our Technology Centre.

As a natural leader, your ability to inspire and communicate effectively will unlock the full potential of your team. In your role as Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of the production schedule.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Safeguarding the morale, health, safety, and welfare of your team in accordance with our Safety Management System and HR policies.
  • Meeting production schedules while achieving key performance indicators for safety, quality, labor hours, zero defects, warranty claims, continuous improvement initiatives, and budget compliance.
  • Implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Upholding the highest standards of quality in construction.
  • Identifying and minimizing LEAN wastes.
  • Ensuring yachts are constructed to meet design and customer specifications.
  • Planning labor requirements in alignment with production schedules and budget constraints.
  • Leading line developments, conducting 5S audits, and spearheading LEAN/Kaizen projects.
  • Gaining the respect of your team to effectively manage their performance and morale through modern leadership practices.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A CMI Level 3 qualification is essential, with CMI Level 5 being desirable.
  • A proven history of leading teams in marine, construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Leadership experience in a construction or high-value, low-volume manufacturing environment, preferably within the marine industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing construction projects to positive outcomes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Evidence of your capability to handle personnel matters effectively.
  • A solid understanding of Safety Management Systems.
